I’m blaming Sublime Stitching for my new-found addition to embroidery. Curses!
In all honesty, I should be thanking Jenny Hart. It’s been a long time since I’ve embroidered anything, and her new book, due out in stores in October, got me back into stitching love.

A scaaaarrreeeyyy craft challenge

The folks over at CRAFT and Craftster are getting into a spooky spirit, and they want to see what you can do with it. The latest craft challenge is #15: Zombies & Robots & Bears…Oh My! Entries are due Oct. 1-Oct. 5. Here’s what CRAFT has to say about it:

First of all, I’m sorry …

… I just couldn’t resist this.

In about 20 minutes, I’ll be knitting in front of the the bestest show in all the land. I did a quick “Gilmore Girls” + “crafts” Google and found that Craftster had a swap in 2005 of stuff inspired by the show. My fave is this one.

Over the past few months, our returning visitor numbers have grown, and yet we don’t know much about who is stopping by. So I present a little Q&A for you. Please […]

::This might also be a great opportunity to pick me up some cider mill donuts on your way home. Do you see a theme developing here?::

Happy Fall!

Today is the first day of fall, y’all! (Oh, that was great, really great.) Get out their with a brimmin’ cup of cider (what you add to it is your own bizness!), some cider mill donuts and a keen eye for spotting cool leafs. A pressed leaf has sooo many possibilities when it comes time […]
